The grounds include not only the Keeneland Race Course, but alsp a Thoroughbred racing facility, and Keeneland Sales, a horse auction complex. Ranked #1 of the top ten tracks, Keeneland is a staple of Kentucky and a great place to visit for a fun-filled day. Just remember to dress in your finest attire fit for an afternoon at the races— as denim, regardless of color, shorts and other clothing or shoes that resemble athletic attire is not permitted on these grounds.

Pop over to the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington to take a tour of The Aviation Museum of Kentucky. Opened to the public in April, 1995, this incredible museum includes over 20,000 square feet of exhibit space that includes military and civilian aircraft, jet fighters, sailplanes, aircraft engines, satellites, an aircraft restoration and repair shop, a gift shop, and a library. Home of the Kentucky Aviation Hall of Fame, you’ll get to see everything from historic airplanes, to photos and documents and training equipment all included in the museum's permanent collection. Many of items on display were generously donated from the personal collections of members of the Kentucky Aviation History Roundtable, local group of aviation enthusiasts who encouraged this permanent aviation museum at the Blue Grass Airport.
