Embrace autumn’s natural charm with these one-of-a-kind stays that guarantee you’ll fall head over heels with the magic of the season.

With milder temperatures and picturesque foliage, fall is the perfect time to step outside and embrace the beauty of nature. Whether you have a penchant for pumpkin patches, a fondness for fall foliage or simply a taste for travel, these one-of-a-kind stays provide the best opportunities to explore the great outdoors and create lasting memories this fall.

Tree's company

From east to west, autumn is a magical time across North America. As trees change color and the air is comfortably crisp, fall foliage puts on an enchanting display of vivid hues perfect for leaf peeping. Be blown away by the abundant natural beauty in places like Ontario, where you can soak in spectacular views of fall foliage across mountains and foothills, sip on fresh-pressed apple cider, sample maple-flavored treats and hike along crimson and gold tree-lined trails. Bonus: Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake, just 7 miles (12 kilometers) from Niagara Falls, is nestled in Ontario’s wine country. With built-in charm and picture-perfect temperatures for exploring, autumnal destinations cater to a truly memorable and tranquil stay.

 Adventure for a cause

What better way to experience the country’s vast natural beauty than by cycling around the perimeter of the U.S.? Just ask Jim Feeney, who did just that to raise awareness and money for a charity that helps rebuild homes for families after natural disasters. Feeney rode 10,000 miles (16,093 kilometers) through 32 states and raised over $300,000 — all while staying at Hilton properties around the country. In awe of his story, the Hilton social and Hilton Honors teams worked together to donate points to Feeney’s account so that he could comfortably stay the course of his journey. Feeney thanked the teams on Instagram for stepping up for a good cause, proving it truly does matter where you stay.

On a roll

Visiting a new city is the perfect way to expand your horizons this fall — especially by bike. Head for Amsterdam, San Diego, Ottawa, Washington or Portland to find the perfect mix of fall fun, food and plenty of cycling lanes. These cities feature designated bike lanes and ample trails, pathways and routes that showcase the best of autumn landscapes along the way. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends or family, a fall trip abroad will excite your sense of adventure and provide the opportunity to bask in the natural wonders located around the world. So, grab your passport (and your helmet!) and start exploring everything fall has to offer.
