Barkin’ Basin Dog Park

Located in the northwest corner of Las Vegas, is about a 20-minute drive from The Strip. The spacious park features shaded benches where you and your pup can rest, plus, separate enclosed areas for large, medium and small dogs. Best of all, energetic pups can cool off (necessary in a state that’s primarily desert) at the park’s dog water fountains.

Desert Breeze Dog Park

Located in Spring Valley on a picturesque hill with a beautiful view of the Las Vegas Strip, Desert Breeze Dog Park makes for a wonderful excursion for any dog; the park has ample grassy space for pets to burn off excess energy. During the summer, the park also hosts an annual “Dog Daze of Summer” event which is the one day a year dogs are allowed to cool off at the park’s aquatic facility.

All American Park

Another west side park, All American Park’s dog run is a small but locally loved dog park. This dog park features a single fenced-in, grassy off-leash area — ideal for visitors looking for a place where big and little dogs can play together. Leash up your dog for a walk around the entire park so they can take in all the sights and smells.

Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex Dog Park

Pet owners looking for a spacious dog park will find it near Summerlin on the west side of Las Vegas. Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex Dog Park has separate areas for small and large dogs to safely frolic in, and visitors praise this dog park for having ample waste bags and trash cans as well as seating areas that are, most importantly, shaded. If you’re traveling with kids, there are also two playgrounds, a concession stand and covered picnic areas to explore.

Sunset Dog Park

The sprawling Sunset Park has the reputation as one of the biggest and best parks in Las Vegas, as it has countless amenities like shaded picnic areas, playgrounds and a splash pad. For maintenance, the Sunset Dog Park rotates between separate fenced-in areas so the grass is in top condition for the pups. Visitors might also enjoy taking their dogs for a stroll via the various trails around the park’s large pond.
