If your beloved pet has ever sat in your suitcase with sad eyes as you packed for a vacation, you’ll know how hard it can be to leave four-legged friends behind. The best solution? Bring them along! With plenty of pet-friendly hotels to choose from, whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple or with family, bringing your fur baby with you on your next vacation means a guilt-free getaway for everyone. So, pack that leash and get ready for your next pawesome stay.

Wisp me away

Travel is often filled with fun memories, but sometimes taking a trip is for more serious matters. Just ask Tampa-based animal rescuer, Dominque Amerosa (aka @ragstorichesanimalrescu), who posted about traveling to Sarasota for her foster kitten Wisp’s emergency surgery. Always happy to help a furry friend in need, the social team at Hilton swooped into Amerosa’s DMs and secured three nights for them during Wisp’s surgery and follow-up care at the pet-friendly Home2 Suites by Hilton Lakewood Ranch. Grateful for the heartwarming gesture and comfortable stay, Wisp’s rescuer shared a slew of thankful shoutouts to Hilton and the social team. Still on the road to recovery, Wisp returned for a second procedure. When her new besties at Hilton found out she was staying at Homewood Suites by Hilton Sarasota Lakewood Ranch, the team reached out to cover part of the stay and delivered a cute note and basket full of special goodies for Wisp. Now that’s what we call the cat’s meow!

Pup-friendly packing list

Packing for a trip is an art form — you want to make sure you’re bringing the essentials without overstuffing your suitcase. When you add packing for your pet into the mix, things can get even more tricky. Fortunately, influencer Johnathan and his trusted travel companion, Teddy (aka @aguyandagoldenn), gave us the inside scoop on their pet-friendly travel essentials. Their top tips? Be sure to bring a collar with identification, a brush to stay picture-ready, a leash for safely exploring and ample treats for on-the-go training opportunities. While your pet-friendly hotel will have amenities to make both you and your furry friend comfortable, it’s always good to be prepared for when you’re out exploring a destination too. With these tips in mind, you’ll be ready for the ultimate hassle-free, memory-making getaway. Bone-voyage!

Pawfect accommodations

No matter where you’re traveling to, it’s important to choose a place to stay that caters to your needs — and your pets’. Want your furry friend to feel as pampered as you do? Prefer extra space so everyone can stretch their legs? Well, hold on to your leashes because we found two traveling Golden Retrievers, Gamja and Chip, who have discovered the perfect place to unwind with their humans. While staying at Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Belmont, the inseparable pair felt right at home. Space for playing sneak attack in the room? Check! A full-size fridge for storing plenty of raw food? Yep! And when it comes time to chill out in the sun, Gamja and Chip found comfortable spots (in their preferred and unique lounging styles, of course) in the hotel’s outdoor area for the ultimate relaxing stay. There’s no such thing as ruffing it for these two travel buddies!
